MJ Reyes sees Evil signs that the destruction of country may come soon ~Share

All countries that the US has destroyed or attempted to destroy such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Vietnam, Cuba, etc... have always started with accusations of human rights as one of  its justification for economic and military actions.

Because Duterte has been trying to craft a foreign policy that is independent of US intervention, the issue of human rights has been used against him. The United Nations which is funded by the US and Western nations are subservient to US interest and have put pressure on Duterte to stop his war on drugs.

Why do they want him to stop the war on drugs? Duterte's popularity hinges on the success or failure of the war on drugs. If the war on drugs fails, Digong's popularity goes down. When his popularity goes down, our leader will be replaced by a puppet that will look after the interest of the US but not ours.

The issue of human rights is the facade the US and the Western powers use to mask their real intentions because it gives justification to wage an economic or military war.  If the US and the West were really interested in human rights, the first country they should have sanctioned would have been the brutal state of Saudi Arabia.

MJ Quiambao Reyes post titled WRITING ON THE WALL talks about her suspicions that something big is brewing that is intended to destabilize our country.

WRITING ON THE WALL

MJ Quiambao Reyes

I am not a prophet of doom, but the writing on the wall is so ominous and alarming. This is one of those moments where I hope I am wrong.

When De Lima & Trillanes brought Mastaba to in the Senate Hearing and a pre-taped video of his testimony with English subtitle was released by New York Times promptly thereafter, I knew something's brewing.

As I have posted on FB a month, Matabato's testimony was not presented in aid of legislation--it was more intended to incite the ICC to intervene & the international community to protest.

[ See: https://m.facebook.com/story.php… ]

Now, the most recent statement of ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda:
“I am deeply concerned about these alleged killings and the fact that public statements by high officials of the republic of the Philippines seem to condone such killings."

It should be noted, however, that ICC should only intervene if a country is found to be unwilling or unable to prosecute crimes under its statute, including war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.

As such, it is of utmost importance for our government to promptly release the findings of the recent senate hearing and emphasize that the recent killings:
  1. Were neither state-sponsored nor state sanctioned
  2. Were/are being seriously investigated
This report must be released and must be picked up by foreign press.
It is equally important for PNP to:
  1. emphasize that almost 300 of the 1,200 death-under-investigation have already been resolved and that the rest in the process of investigation
  2. emphasize that the erring police officers are now under prosecution and/or in jail
  3. investigate and resolve the remaining DUI fast
It will also help if our President will tone down a bit and refrain from further challenging and hurling invectives against US, EU, & UN.

With the above, ICC hopefully will refrain from interfering. This being the best scenario for all of us--except for those who are behind this deliberate plan to oust the President and get themselves back in power.

Now, what happens when ICC continue to intervene?

Here are just some of the possible scenarios I can think of:
  1. If ICC investigates and finds no probable cause, then end of story.
  2. If ICC investigates and finds probable cause, then they can get a warrant of arrest.

If our President ignores the warrant, there will be economic & diplomatic sanctions among other possible repercussions. Worse, given that many of Duterte's supporters are rock solid, his arrest or his resistance to it can lead to a civil war.

If Duterte surrenders and honors the warrant, he will have to file a leave of absence and face the prosecution. The VP will then have to take over. LP will be back in power. This too will lead to civil unrest.

Needless to say, both scenarios will lead to civil unrest. The best scenario is to prevent the ICC from intervening.

I fervently hope the President and his men are.listening and that they will do needful and act on my above suggestions among other things that should be done. It is time to use their resources and to engage the local & foreign press in the same manner that his enemy used and continue to use the same to call ICC's and international community's attention.

We, the citizens, must help and do our part--as our new government do not really have many resources left at this time. Let us use our skills and the social media effectively. Let us engage foreign news outlets and help inform them and the international community that the senseless killings are not state-sanctioned and that these are now under investigation.

I want to believe that the President is a political genius, a master of his game. I also want to believe that some of his "anger" & outbursts were part of his strategic plan. I can only hope and fervently pray now that he be on top of his game, that he be in full control of his emotions, and that he and his men will do needful to protect the people he cares for by protecting his presidency and, consequently, preventing civil unrest.
May the odds be in our favor.
