The University of San Carlos College of Commerce Alumni Association, Inc., (USC COCAAI), in Cebu City, Philippines has a project called the USC-KNN or USC Kapamilla Negosyo Na! Its goal is to help people start a business.

The philosophy behind the project is the Chinese Proverb "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
