If Mariz Umali was offended, why was she caught smiling in this video? Was it because she knew Duterte was joking? Everyone in the room were laughing because they knew it was a joke.
For sure the news organizations knew it was a joke too but they decided to twist the story so people will get angry.
The case Umali's husband might be different. Perhaps he got jealous.

ReplyDeleteUmali is confident she has the interview we'd good favor... she smiled because she knew the interviewee was exasperated with the trivial query... she braved the situation ... she was hedging... logical response may not matter... but sparky reaction will definitely be news... and the interviewee obliged because it's his prerogative to deliver the response he deems suited to the question posed...

As you can see in the video... parang natuwa pa sya napatawa ng bahagya and her tone of voice sounds like she is not taking it as offending. Ewan ko pero yung ang tingin ko.
