Respected Raffy Alunan practically said De Lima has no delicadeza. Do you agree? ~SHARE~

I agree with the well respected former DILG chief Alunan when he said that De Lima should have "recused' herself from the committee hearing on extrajudicial killing

What is the meaning of "recused"? To recuse is to "excuse oneself from a case because of a possible conflict of interest or lack of impartiality".

De Lima obviously has conflict of interest because she is suspected of having links to drug lords; secondly; she is a harsh critic of the police so how can she be fair and impartial.

De Lima obviously has no "delicadeza"

If you noticed yesterday when she was interrogating of "Bato", her tone of voice and facial expression appeared to very hostile and defensive. She also spent quite a lot of time explaining her actions as Justice Secretary instead of asking question to explore information that could help them in the aid of legislation.

De Lima used the hearing to justify whatever she did or did not do as Justice Secretary to the public.

Below is Mr. Raffy Alunans comments.

De5 is conflicted. She has no business chairing the committee hearings on drugs where she herself is suspected to have links to drug lords. She should have recused herself.

As chair, she tried to stop Senator Zubiri who had not yet consumed his 5 mins, and didn't give Sen Cayetano his 10 mins when another Senator yielded his 5 mins to him.

She's gagging those who do not conform to her twisted narrative of the war on drugs.

That speaks volumes.

Please leave a comment and share you thoughts.

  1. Doesn't matter sir Raffy anyway it turns out that the hearing I think favors the PNP only Drillon and De Lima is really pushing EJK, while other Senators express a positive effect of advice and support for the PNP. They even want to fund the campaign, mapapahiya lalo si De Lima dyan knowing that majority of the Senate symphatizes with the PNP.

    1. Of course, it does matter. She only seems to have one goal of this hearing and that is to find faults of PNP to get even with our president who's working hard on this project. And yes, I am thankful that most members are supportive with Bato, especially Mr. Cayetano and Pacman, to mention a few. But Delima, I don't think she's not gonna last long there, we'll see.

  2. Delima wants to divert the minds of the people...so people may focus on the current hearings in the senate, and ignoring the call or invitation of the congress.

  3. Finish it already, have the senate cast their votes and then let the senate immediately begin investigating De Lima!

    1. I am really very sorry for having voted De Lima as senator. I thought by having her in the Senate, our country will profit by having a previous Justice Secretary. I did not know her personally but being a Justice Secretary is something which I thought will give justice to our less fortunate citizenry. Nakakahiya siya.

  5. She's trying to show to the people of herself being the innocent, clean, righteous,at walang bahid ng katiwalian,na kung tutuusin siya itong major suspect in coddling drug lords.

  6. Well, the truth will always prevail however she may try to hide and deny them. I trust the President will remain strong and expose the evidence. Social media is active and people are not stupid.

  7. A pretentious bleeding heart like D5 has no delicadeza at all. She thinks that Filipinos are stupid like her to believe a least a few of her words! She knows that she is being mocked and has zero credibility among the constituents but her greed and hunger for power overflows! Knowing her immoral status, alleged involvement in drugs, in order to cover up her true self, she's pkaying aand criticizing the good deeds of the new administration. This directs herself to hell.

  9. It is very clear that DeLima has no delecadesa. Looks like she has a mental disorder too. She needs to go

  10. Precisely. This is her way of displaying diversionary tactics to cover up her wrong-doings before and at present. She continually say that she will not appear if called for in the lower house inquiry on drugs. We will just wait for the house leadership if she will not be charged for contempt if she refused to appear when summoned.

  13. It was to hilarious to hear from a so called former Justice Secretary and now Senator to say that, “May I tell you na naisip na rin namin po yun. Kaya lang you know, when I consulted some lawyers within my staff and within DOJ, kailangan pa daw ang mga kung ano pang gawin. You know to be strictly above board, pero naisip din po naming ya.”. Hay naku, it simply means that we have a bunch idiots or lazy people around DOJ during her time and we have wasted our taxes to those goldfish brain size like people. I think that is the reason why that during their six years term, its like as if nothing happen. I don't recall any government project or initiative that has so much impact on us as a regular tax payer. Eh bakit kay Digong, wala pang isang buwan, nagawa kaagad ang pag guardya ng SAF sa Bilibid. Hell anyway, everything backfires at her.

  14. Just as I thought. How can a suspected drug lord coddler be the head of the investigation?

Why was she allowed to head this hearing?

    ReplyDelete
  15. The only non partisan means of conducting an Inquiry is to call a "commission On Inquiry, to be headed by an individual whose Independence and impartiality is beyond question and given a defined mandate, objectives and timeframe to submit the Reporfs and Revommendations .. But to guarantee that Facts and otTruth will not Compromise , it Shoold be Blameless (that nobody will get blame as results of testimonies and evidence presented and or given before the Inquiry.. Only those who committed Perjury and contempt must be punished.

  20. I was watching that senate hearing, I've previously commented that in one of the threads, that there must be a rugulation to prevent her in participating due to the suspicion of her involvement in the illegal drugs.

Somehow, because she is now a senator, she seems to be forgetting that she is not above the law. She must remove herself as chair.

  21. Just a few words, her witness said that it begins at the time of Aquino and she is the DOJ so drugs are already on their time. Why did they not do something.

  22. Shame on her!!hindi naba sya nahihiya?and obviously shes trying to justify herself being involve sa drugs.I think she's psychotic and she's not fit in her position in the congress.
    She has to resign! nakakakilabot!

  27. H. L. Mencken's Working Hypothesis of the Legislative Process states: "Whenever A attempts by law to impose his moral standards on B, A is most likely a SCOUNDREL." Hmmm .... Interesting. Do we see anything of that being true in the Delima investigation of President Duterte's "War on Drugs" purportedly "in aid of legislation"?
I wonder what legistlon the Darling Senator would work on after the investigation .... Perhaps ...
    1. That the PNP MUST NOT use force when arresting identified pushers/criminals, armed or not.. 'No touch' if possible. Any use of force would be a violation of the criminal's human rights. If the use of force results in death (of the criminal), the arresting officer would be charged with murder. If it's the arresting officer who's killed, the criminal will only be charged with homicide because he was only defending himself. Also, that the police must not carry firearms. They can only use truncheons made of recycled paper/rubber/styrofoam to protect themselves.
    2. Police work will be limited to "stop, look, listen."
    3. Legalize the now illegal drugs trade and promote it as a livelihood project to eradicate poverty. Then, there will be no more unemployed people, no more poor, no more beggars, squatters. No more shanties, only palatial homes for everyone. Per capita income in the country would be the highest in the world.
    Isn't that wonderful?

  29. Hehe, might as well say in aid of self-preservation. What can you deduce from a hearing where the chair did most of the talking? It's hard to see the impartiality-aspect of it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. She has no decency, no honor, no pride. She tried to manipulate the hearing, tried to condition the minds of the people but obviously she didn't succeed. First of all she has no credibility. Who is she? She should have kept silent and hide her face. She knew well that she is the center of ridicule, contempt and insult of the people, still she has no shame at all. That is dilima.
