First of all, let me touch on the alledge insult that was not an insult.

If you listened carefully to what Duterte said, he never mentioned that Obama's mother is a whore, as a matter of fact Duterte never swore at Obama.

What Duterte said was a conditional statement or also known as an "if" statement.

Let's put it this way, if I said that I will punch you in the face if you disrespected my daughter, does it mean I have already punched you? When Duterte said that he will curse Obama if he brings up the issue of human rights, did it mean he cursed Obama already? Definitely not.

So now let's discuss Duterte's rant.

Imagine if Duterte did not rant.

Instead he met Obama face to face, and then when Obama raised the issue of human rights all of a sudden KABOOM!!!  Duterte unleashes his lecture about human rights and exposing the hypocrisy of the US for the world to see.

If this happened, who would have been embarrassed, Duterte or Obama?

Whether you like it or not Duterte was right about the US human rights record. We start out with the genocide of the American Indians. It is said that when Columbus arrived in the Americas there were over 10 million of them but at the end of the 19th century only 300,000 survived.

Then we look at the Philippines where 600,000 Moros where killed by the Americans. Then the Vietnam war where 1.1 million Vietnamese were killed when the US invaded Vietnam.

Finally, we have Iraq, Libya, and Syria were hundred of thousands have died and a country has been left in ruins.

If that is not human rights violation then what is? At the end of the day, the US does not have a right to lecture anyone about human rights because their hands is covered in blood.
